The program began with a silent auction and boutique-browsing
for the early birds.
After an invocation by Major Floiran Estrada, Corps
Officer of The Salvation Army in Beaumont, a delightful lunch was served to 200
attendees. Honored guests included City
of Beaumont Mayor Becky Ames and Mary Archer of The Salvation Army divisional
headquarters.
“We hope that increased awareness will help bring the
necessary support to make this project a reality,” says Major Eloisa Estrada.
Judy Kelfstrom, Event Coordinator, acknowledged the local
media for the support they give to The Salvation Army as well as other
non-profit organizations. The Salvation
Army wants to give thanks to the Luncheon Committee, our sponsors, and our
community.
